A Disney Springs Update!

Everytime I go to Disney Springs I can’t believe the amount of new shops and restaurants that I see. Everything from new desserts to new activities, something is always popping up. Here are a few “must tries” and a few classics that you have to go to when visiting!

  1. Amorette’s Patisserie: One thing that always pops up on my radar when I head to Disney Springs is dessert. If I want a cupcake, I know to go to Sprinkles but if I want a new “iridescent treat” I know to go to Amorette’s. Creating Unicorn Macaron Lollipops and White Chocolate Mouse Ears, there is no better place to try something new. This Patisserie of course has other offerings, but these are just too cute to pass up!

  2. Wine Bar George: Joining the late night scene at Disney Springs, this new Wine Bar offers “late night sips” and plenty of snacks. With cocktails, cheese boards and so much more, everyone will have something to munch on. Over 130 wine selections will allow for the perfect pairing.

  3. Vivoli Il Gelato: Do not forget to top off your night at The Springs with mouth watering Gelato. Handcrafted and open until 12AM, this incredible little shop will be the perfect nightcap. With over 12 flavors at a time you’ll be able to taste anything from Cheesecake to Italian Coffee Cake. This is on the top of my list for recommendations!

  4. Homecomin’: The ultimate American style restaurant has opened recently and it will not disappoint. Fried chicken, fish sandwiches, BBQ and so much more is to be enjoyed here. A personal favorite has to be the Cheddar Cheese Drop Biscuits.

Elsa and Ana will guide you as you hear your favorite tunes from the show and see your favorite characters. Part of the Norway Pavilion at Epcot, you will be able to fully feel as though you traveled to the far away land.

  2. Avatar Flight of Passage: On the back of a mountain banshee, you will feel as though you are truly one of the Na’vi. Welcome to Pandora at Animal Kingdom where two worlds collide. This 3D ride takes you up and down mountains as you take in the incredible scenery. A must see as you are on your Na’vi journey.

  3. Miss Adventure Falls: The summer is hot, but your vacation does not have to be! Head over to Typhoon Lagoon and experience the new water coaster. 1. Mako: An ode to the fastest known shark, Mako will take you for a spin like never before. Speeding up to 73 mph and going over 200 feet, Mako twists and turns to mimic the movement of a shark. As Orlando’s fastest, tallest, and longest roller coaster, you are sure to have a good time!

Laying down with tummy parallel to the floor, you’ll feel as though you’re gliding through the water, just as a Manta Ray would. With ups and downs, and a few nose-dives, you’ll feel just like you’re gliding on the high seas.

  3. Kraken: This is for all the traditionalists who have been with SeaWorld since the beginning. The inaugural roller coaster is one of the best with its high loops and fast speeds. With a recent remodel, you can now opt for the virtual reality goggles that take it to the next level.
