Disney has just announced that Typhoon Lagoon will begin construction on a new water attraction, Miss Fortune Falls. This family-friendly raft ride will feature “Miss Fortune” and a complete storyline to complement the ride. With the”imagineering” at Disney, there is no telling what they will come up with next.
This family-style raft ride will be the perfect way to start your day at the Lagoon, once the ride is open. You and your family will be able to track the treasure of Miss Fortune as you slide through the slopes of her mysterious past. The two-minute long ride will be one of the longest that the park has to offer. This ride will keep you coming back for more every time you visit Typhoon Lagoon. While Miss Fortune is getting ready for her spectacular debut, you will have plenty of other options at Typhoon Lagoon to find your thrill. One of the best options (in my opinion) is Crush ‘n’ Gusher. This rollercoaster meets water slide will send you down huge drops, fast twists and crazy turns. Choose from three different slides (Coconut Crusher, Banana Blaster, Pineapple Plunger) and get ready to experience the thrill of a lifetime.
If you’re not so extreme then Mayday and Keelhaul Falls are for you. These single person raft rides send you on a fun adventure while looking at the lush Florida landscape. If that is too extreme, I think we can all agree that Castaway Creek is for you. While circling the park, you’ll get a 360 degree view of what it has to offer.
Head on over to Typhoon Lagoon for an experience like never before. Miss Fortune Falls already sounds amazing and they have only broken ground! Book your tickets today to be one of the first to ride.
