Tiffins at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

If you are looking for a new restaurant to try in Animal Kingdom, then Disney has great news for you! Tiffins and Nomad Lounge are now open. To begin, Tiffins (an Indian English word meaning midday meal) is a table-service restaurant located in the Discovery Island section of Animal Kingdom. Close to Pizzafari, this restaurant is offering more than just what meets the eye. Nomad Lounge has also recently opened, located just next to Tiffins. Nomad Lounge is also serving up some tasty creations.

To begin, Tiffins is an incredibly designed restaurant that is inspired by the adventure that made Animal Kingdom what it is today. The attention to detail from the entrance to the building itself is truly spectacular. The adventure of Tiffins starts as you walk up and continues through your journey of food. The menu offers anything from Chermoula-Rubbed Chicken to Miso-Glazed Black Cod and allows you to try something new or exotic. The Indian inspired flavor ranges from Roasted Market Vegetable Curry to Lobster Popcorn Thai soup. The wine selections are made to perfectly pair with each dish. For Dessert try the Lime Cheesecake or Calamansi Mousse.

Located in the same building as Tiffins is Nomad Lounge. With cocktails and small plates inspired from Asian, African and South American flavors, you are sure to find something to suit your palate. The same flavors of Tiffins are carried over which include dishes like Indian Butter Chicken Wings and Seared Wagyu Beef. You can also try the different cocktails such as the African inspired Lamu Libation or the Indonesian inspired Zingiber Fizzie. Offering non-alcoholic beverages, Nomad Lounge is friendly for the whole family.

This summer in Central Florida, come on down to these wonderful restaurants located right in Animal Kingdom. Explore the flavors of the world and the food of adventure as you dive into the menus of these new Disney restaurants.
