Global is a good fit for me!

I’ve only been at Global for a short time, but I can always tell if a place is a good fit for me. At work, I like being a part of open communication, exciting opportunities, and great fun. In short, work shouldn’t feel like work. Work should feel dynamic and energetic. Work should give me the chance to engage with people. My job at Global – Director of Customer Service – is predicated on this.  Florida’s visitors want three things: sunshine, scenery, and siestas. That’s what Florida is all about! What greater job is there  than ensuring that people get what they’re looking for when they come here? Now, I know that people are different. They have different needs, and what’s fun to one is not necessarily as riveting to the other. What’s fun to me is being around people who care. Our homeowners and vacation guests care about fun, so it should follow that an effective staff should too. During my first week, I was treated to upbeat attitudes, jovial energy, and friendly communication from everyone I work with. That sense of positivity can only portend a dynamic and exciting work environment where every day is interesting, and the people make it so!

Currently, my position here at Global Resort Homes is receptionist at our Lake Buena Vista office. Being one of the newer additions to the Global team, I have had the pleasure of learning and enjoying the amazing work that Global does for its clients and for their team members. They have provided me with the opportunity to expand on the skills that I joined them with, and have encouraged the development of new skills in various areas. One thing that I really love about Global is that they are constantly evaluating their work and striving to provide the best for all involved in every aspect of this multi-faceted business. Working for Global has not just provided me with professional experience, but I have been able to have many positive experiences, developed  great relationships, and I feel quite at home with my Global family.
