Annika Lesson Reunion Resort

If your golf game is anything like mine, consistently inconsistent, then news of the two new ANNIKA Academy programs is reason to celebrate.

The Hall-of-Fame golfer Annika Sorenstam’s boutique golf instruction and fitness school – announced two new golf instruction programs for the 2015-16 season.

“Silver” and “Short Game” programs are now available, joining the popular “Soren-Slam,” “Major,” “Platinum,” “Championship,” and “Player’s” options.

The newly announced Silver program includes three half days of instruction (three hours / day) covering the full swing, short game, bunker play and putting; 54 holes of golf (18 holes / day); three hours of on-course instruction; and breakfast daily.

Similarly, the new Short Game program features three half days of instruction (three hours / day), 54 holes of golf (18 holes / day) and breakfast daily. Instruction is focused, however, on wedge play inside 80 yards, shot selection and putting. It also includes SAM PuttLab Analysis and wedge fitting – the revolutionary system is the latest addition to the Academy’s lineup of innovative technology.

“Led by Annika’s sister Charlotta and Henri Reis, Annika’s lifelong coach, the Academy team is incredibly knowledgeable about every aspect of the golf swing and putting stroke,” says Shawn Thorimbert, Director Operations, ANNIKA Academy. “Their decades of experience are crucial to guests fully grasping Annika’s ‘Winning Approach’ to playing better golf.”

For those seeking to learn directly from Annika, the Major and Soren-Slam offer opportunities to receive instruction from a 10-time major champion. Whether via a clinic (Major) or nine holes of golf (Soren-Slam), guests will enjoy a precious glimpse into what made Annika the best player in women’s golf for more than a decade.

The ANNIKA Academy is located at Reunion Resort just moments from some of our most beautiful homes. So grab your golf friends and plan the golf vacation you’ve always dreamed.
